What is the damage procedure for CLN & So Fab - Luzon area?

Update: As of January 27, 2017.

A. Store

1. For damage items from inter-branch transfer and customer returns, check if there was a mishandling and establish accountability, if any.
If none, include in the monthly damage pull-out.


2. For damage items from warehouse, group based on the following damage type.

a) For recall – certain stock number or style requested by Merchandising team for pull-out to warehouse after the discovery of safety issues or product defects. This should not be included in the monthly damage report.
b) Wrong pair & one foot –should be emailed to warehouse upon receipt through status of delivery report.
c) Damage – defective items which cannot be repaired. Include in monthly pull-out.


3. Stockman will label the item using a damage slip while referring to the sorting criteria (Please temporarily use the attached damaged slip while waiting for the sticker production):


a) For CHARITY
    • Wrong pair - one size difference
    • Missing or damaged accessories
    • Fitting problem – reported to Mdsg Dept
    • Dirty, discolored and with stain
    • Any other defect but still wearable
    b) For DISPOSAL
    • Wrong pair- two sizes difference
    • One foot
    • Expired materials
    • Used - returned by customer
    • Poor quality and not repairable
    • Not wearable

*For apparels & bags, put it on the plastic.

  • All damaged items must have corresponding damaged slip.
  • All damaged/wrong pair/one foot upon receive must have corresponding OS Ticket reference number.
  • Damaged details must be filled up especially for wrong pair and one foot upon receive.

4. ASM/SSM will assess the extent of the damage, investigate further if staff is accountable or not, decide if the item is for charity or disposal and finally, put corresponding sticker.

5. Create out slip to 019-Damage Bin. Standard comments (ALL CAPS)
  • Comment 1: Damage type & category (Ex. WRONG PAIR SHOES)
  • Comment 2: Final instruction either CHARITY or DISPOSAL

6. Send pull-out pre-alert to RDU and damage bin in-charge personnel.
